Anyone know any places to camp near transition? Also... could anyone give me some feed back about the course... and what the swim is like?

Best swim ever. Water as clear as pool water. You can see the bottom the entire swim, as well as all the swimmers around you, so it is easy to draft. When I swam last year the water was perfectly flat.

Not much camping near transition (if any), but there is ample camping at Gunstock which has mundo shuttles running frequently.

The bike course is fun but a little challenging.  There are some rough road spots but long stretches of beautiful pavement.  There are hills the first 10 and the last 10 miles, with a largely flat middle.  The course does meander a bit downhill to the turnaround and then of course back up that same very slight incline until the hills toward the end.  There is also often a pretty steady wind in your face after the turnaround, though the wind really kicks up later in the day.  If there's no wind it can be very, very fast for the middle 35 miles.  It's not the toughest 70.3 bike in the country, but it does have some hills.

x2 on the swim.  Water is clean enough to drink if you're so inclined.  It's typically pretty smooth that early in the morning.  The water is super warm this year as well; it was 77 last weekend.  It's unlikely to stay quite that warm or get warmer, so it will almost certainly be wetsuit legal.
