Subject: Help me pick 10yr anniversary work gift

My current job is my first job out of undergrad and I have been with them for 10 years.  I need help deciding a gift for my 10 year anniversary.

I really have no need for any of them and I don't mind giving it away to my sig other, but keep in mind that it has the company logo on it so it may not be practical and probably cheesy.

Please help me pick something and also, why you chose it.  At first glance, I was thinking of the most expensive like the watches but I have no idea.

Thanks for any input.

It's a small company logo (my company being 'EDS'), so you won't really be able to tell, but if you pull up the pics of the items, you will find the below logo on the side of the watch, for example.

can I ask which LOGO it would have on it?

Hmmm, no wetsuits, heart rate monitors, carbon tri shoes, nothing.... I think I'd just quit.

Actually, I got a watch at my 5 yr. anniversary and generally used it at least. Just go with the most expensive thing you'd actually use

Bushnell set. That's the most practical (to me, anyhow).

Seems like most people are going for pratical vs. something like just 'looks nice' like the watch.  Keep them coming and thanks for everyone that replied.

Regarding working a long time at my company, I think alot of people on this board would stay at a company like mine.  I don't particularly like what I do, but I get to work from home full time (though for some reason, it still doesn't help me train more).

I was with EDS for 7 years here in Calgary. I got the Buschnell Binoculars for my 5 year anniversary. They're nice - though I haven't used them that often.

Hey, I work for EDS too!  The gifts are a little different now then when I hit my 10 a couple of years ago.  I got one of those suitcases with the handle and wheels.  It's actually pretty nice alhtough I have only used it once.  Thankfully, I don't have to travel that often.  For my 5 year I got a pen that never worked.    I wish they would just give out cash!

Congrats on your 10 year anniversary!

Your company is very nice to offer such handsome gifts.  I did not get anything until my 25th anniversary and all I got was a briefcase ... I did not get to choose!  And I got a "gold plated" ring for my 30th that turns my finer green!?!

Dude...they actually offer a candlestick for being there 10 years? Do you get like a porcelain incense holder at 15 years?
