Swim
Comments: Crazy start! There was basically no preparation for the start. The lady basically just said said "ready, set, go!" Some people didn't even have their goggles on I guess. It bottle necked really bad at the start and I think I've had less congested IM swim starts. There were a few times I had no where to go, but after the first buoy, it opened up and it was a nice swim. Once again, there's no way this was a 1 mile swim. It was 2 loops so you got to run out of the water and run along the beach for probably 20-30 yards, but the swims were way too fast for that to be a mile. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Content with my ride. The only issue was a forgot to calibrate my race wheel powertap to my Edge so I had to do that on the fly at the beginning of the run. That was a stupid mistake, but besides that, it went well, minus the REALLY annoying 2 miles of construction and very poor quality roads on each loop. Transition 2
Comments: Put socks on today which is something I normally don't do for Olympics and Sprints. I wanted to make sure I didn't mess up my feet for NYC in a couple weeks. Run
Comments: Solid run. I went out a little too hard, but kept it together pretty well. I kind of lost motivation towards the end because 3rd was pretty far ahead of me and 5th was a ways back. Nonetheless, I'm happy with this run. What would you do differently?: A little slower to start and a little faster on the way back Post race
