Subject: Steelhead 70.3 Bike
Hi Everyone,

I am thinking about biking the bike course of Steelhead this weekend, since it looks like some of the course is on a 'hwy' does anyone know if it's a bike friendly course on non-race day?? I live in Chicago, so I don't know that area.

Yes it's a very bike friendly course.  The hwy section is the best part, it's smooth and a very wide shoulder.  The other sections are on roads that don't see much traffic but they are bumpy in spots.  I may be riding it tomorrow for my long ride.  Usually quite a few riders on the course right up to the race.
