Hi all,

I've recently found out I need to but a new watch for training - the silly $20 one I bought from the department store finally carked it, and won't display anything that looks like proper numbers.

So now I'm looking at the polar range of watches, the thing is I'm not sure which one to get:

Any advice would be appreciated. Would also be willing to get the timex or garmin range if I could find them for a decent price but so far I haven't - not in real life anyway, I did find a nice timex on the website but without a credit card I'm not able to get it

Anyway could you please help me decide which watch to get - I want one I can use for all three sports, so preferably one that can handle lap swimming because that's the way I killed the last one - took it lap swimming, causing top line of display disseapeared and light became tempremental so I started leaving it on the side of the pool and hitting the start/stop button at the end of each set but now having been stuck in the bottom of my school bag the display is completely dead

If you truly want a multi-sport watch then a 310 or 910 is the best way to go.  I bought my 310 used from eBay at a reasonable price.

thanks. I've already got one recommendation for the 910, and if I can put it on layby I should be ok.
