Pre-race routine:

Woke up, ate cereal and bread with peanut butter and started with gatoraid. Drove to the race site and my bike and the wife's back on the rack and set up transition. Drank some more gatorade and ate a banana. Watched some of the first heats and said hi to Melanie before the race.

For me this was a brutal run since I had stomach craps and had to walk a lot. It was also hot. Saw other people walking
What would you do differently?:

Not eat a banana an hour before the race since it didn't mix and just had differen't cramps.

nutrition, training, sleep the night before

Nice job Mike!!  Way to power through through the run.  Stomach cramps are the worst.
