Swim
Comments: The 40-44 AG was split in 2 waves. I was out first in my wave and did not have a chance to draft. I went out a little fast at the beginning but that is usually what I do anyway. What would you do differently?: started out a little fast Transition 1
Comments: Had a hard time clipping in for some reason Bike
Comments: Felt ok on the bike but need to spend more time in the saddle as I should have done a little better since it was pretty flat and I am used to more hills in Austin What would you do differently?: ride more Transition 2
Run
Comments: The heat and humidity was definitely getting to me but I did an ok job of pushing through. The crowds and local residents were great. Post race
Warm down: ice bath and beer Event comments: I am glad that I made the trip in from Austin as it was a great race and Aaron and the gang put on an amazing event. Last updated: 2012-04-25 12:00 AM

stayed at a buddy's that was also doing the race. Woke up at 4:30 and then had some coffee and a bagel with nutella and a banana. We loaded up the bikes and made our way to the race. After parking and walking over to transition we only had a few minutes to set up.
After finding an ant mound I decided to jump in and swim a warm up. I was in the last male wave so just waited around.
