Swim
  • 09m 49s
  • 550 meters
  • 09s / 100 meters
Comments:

tried to hold back and conserve energy for other legs.

divided swim into three parts 1st hard to get position and clean water
, second moderate strong effort, third part - picked it up a bit
What would you do differently?:

not sure, ,,, maybe a tiny, little bit harder,,,
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

decent - fairly long run to t1
What would you do differently?:

got stuck behind some folks, but didn't force it , wanted to be steady and strong without big energy expenditures

misplaced rubber bands , so start was slow , boarded bike , then clipped in
Bike
  • 35m 56s
  • 13 miles
  • 21.71 mile/hr
Comments:

strong effort, went hard but was careful to not go allout or waster energy ....did a lot more passing this time and was passed up much less...the new dt swiss wheels helped... i really like the idea of purchaing speed 8)
What would you do differently?:

hmmm,,, not much, maybe pushed a bit harder, but that may have blown me up for run.... i reallly wann get faster though for next time! it was a fun ride overall.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Comments:

shoe popped off the crank, had to run back and get it , bummer , cost me several seconds ...(not a podium slot though 8)
What would you do differently?:

rubber bands, practice ... i was too over confident
Run
  • 26m 47s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 08m 38s  min/mile
Comments:

i pushed myself to limits,,, need to get fitter on run...Bad muscle cramps in core , obliques , almost like a stitch.....felt nauseus ...wanted to hurl
What would you do differently?:

train more,,, i don't think i could've gone any faster....i gotta give myself 'a' for effort ....never pushed myself that hard on a run...definately hit a new threshold,,, good stuff!
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

running, poor t2 transition, power in the cycling
