Comments: had only 3 workouts since the Racine Half ironman since I was on vacation. finish was slower than the average time of 1 hour 15 minutes. This was more of a mental challenge for me for next years 2.4 mile ironman swim. water was warmer than expected. I didn't overheat, but wouldn't want it much warmer than it was. Waves weren't much but the highest I have swam in so far. What would you do differently?: swim faster Post race
Warm down: ate some bananas, apple cider and a doughnut hole, then took the kids to the best beach in the state of Wisconsin - Big Bay state park. What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of willingness to do so. Last updated: 2012-07-16 12:00 AM
