Really looking forward to this race next Sunday.  It's become my favorite race every year, a great way to wind down the season.  Nice swim in a protected area, a flat bike, and an easy run.

Anyone else signed up?

Hey Brad,

I was going to sign up and wanted to race the Olympic course this year but something came up where I cannot race.  I have heard it is really nice and hopefully I can do it next year.  Good luck!!

I'm in for there OLY ...I did it two or three seasons ago and it was a really enjoyable race....I've done 3 sprints so far this season so the OLY will be a jump in distance ...

Looking for to the OLY this weekend as well.  This is my first time racing Ludington, but I've heard great things!

This will be my final tune-up before the Tawas 1/2.

PS-I hear the water is a little chilly.

I actually think the water will be warmer than the air when the race starts, by 5-10 degrees. Forecast shows a high of 71 for Sunday.

You will like the bike course as long as there is no wind...you can flat out fly, especially on the way back. Good luck this weekend!

Per the 3Disciplines info email, current water temp is 67, which I think is nearly ideal for a tri.

Anyone have any issues with the online results?  I see my results in the overall PDF, but the AG PDF I'm not listed...

I was in the Clydes division and at the race site their posted results indicated I took 4th in my Clydes AG...However as mentioned it doesn't appear anywhere online for me to see how my splits compared to my group..

I sent an email the Monday after the race bringing this item up yet no response from 3D.  I sent another the other day and still no response.

A year or so ago I recall a thread on 3D and people were sharing issues they've had with 3D over the years...I recall most frustration was with their lack of customer service which I'd say in my case right now I'm in agreement...

I'm over it now but initially I was pretty pissed because we all have reasons we race and I particularly like to see how I did within my "group."  Whether it be AG alone or Clydes or Clydes AG..

Outside of this issue, I thought the event was very well run.  The bike and run courses were very clearly marked and well staffed....I thought I was going to die when I first got in the water and even more when I went under the first time...The announcer was right to keep harping on people to get in and get acclimated BEFORE the heat took off....I felt bad for the handful of guys without wetsuits...

Interestingly within 50 yards I felt great, the water temp seemed perfect...
