PR for me as well - 5:04:31.  Improved swim time by about 3 min over last year, bike by 2 min, and run by 10 min.  Love this race.  If you've not done it, you need to.  There's nothing like running down Broad Street with 5,000 people cheering you on.

Congrats everyone. 5:33 for me and my first HIM. Beat my goal of sub 6.

For the tips, you forgot to mention that if you need a tube or a water bottle, they are all over the bike course....what a mine field that was.

Way to go everyone.  I had a blast.  It was also my first HIM.  I finished in 5:32:29.  Was looking for a sub-6:00, so I am extremely happy with my time.  Best run I have had all season.

I came in at 5:50. I went a little too hard on the bike and had to walk a little about mile 10, but other than that everything went good. Super fun. My first HIM, and third triathlon.

Great race! Loved it.

My first HIM and finished 5:10.  Most fun I ever had in a Triathlon.

Great racing everyone.  Sounds like just about everyone here was crushing their goals/PR's out there.  I am looking to do a HIM next year and maybe I'll consider Augusta to be my first.  It sounds like everyone was pleased with the race/course.  Now I just gotta get training and drop this extra 60 pounds.  Since it's the equivalent to 3-4 extra complete bikes, I think that should come off before I worry about race wheels or an aero stuff on my current ride.  Wink
