Subject: Swim Coaches

Hi everyone. Does anyone have any info on coaches or private lessons to help my front crawl technique? I really want to focus on my swim over the winter for next Tri season. Currently I find myself winded after about 200-400m. There are a few swim clubs I've looked up but their minimum workouts are still way over my head. I live in Surrey but any info would be great!

Thanks!

Don't have any info on any coaches, but give this site a try. http://ruthkazez.com/SwimWorkouts/ZeroTo1mile.html
I only started swimming in January of 2011 and felt the same way you did. The site really helped me get to that point where I no longer felt winded and out of breath, and to my first tri 5 months later and to my first half-iron 2 months after that.

I'm pretty sure you can get some private lessons at any of the pools in Surrey--you could check out the Sport and Leisure Center on Fraser Hwy.  There is a Masters Triathlon training swim group that meets at the YMCA--you may want to get a bit more time in the pool first for that though.  Good luck!
