Expert 1002 Wind Lake WI | Subject: IMWI volunteer and spectator pasta dinner/campfire thread Face it..volunteering or watching IMWI is tough. It's a long day and you run the risk of bonking if you don't manage your nutrition. The best way to fuel yourself is to carb load the night prior to the race. Therefore, Amyjotris and mFirstnet911 are hosting the 3rd annual IMWI volunteer/spectator pasta feed and campfire on Saturday evening. Once again, we are camping at Lake farm park which is about 8 minutes from the swim start. We will provide spaghetti, garlic bread, beer and a camp fire. You'll need to bring anything else you want to eat and a campfire chair. Git-r-done and his wife will be camping one site over. We'll try not to keep them awake This is open to anyone who wants to hang out, eat, or just have a beer with a great group of people. Please add your name to this thread if you are planning to stop by. We don't want to run out of food or beer. Campground is located at: |

Yep, as stated, Sprinkles (don't ask...well, okay, ask....her) and I will be present. Just let me know what we can contribute to IMOOgiving. We are looking forward seeing/meeting anyone that stops by!

Master 1980 Waukesha, WI | Subject: RE: IMWI volunteer and spectator pasta dinner/campfire thread I love the name IMOOgiving Very creative, Shad. Clint and I are in the process of setting up sitters for the big weekend. I will say a tentative yes for us but that is subject to change based on availability of said sitter(s). We will DEFINATELY be there for Sunday cheering, teasing and taunting. |

Veteran 513 Chicago (Old Town) | Subject: RE: IMWI volunteer and spectator pasta dinner/campfire thread I'd like to stop by if that's cool! I'm volunteering all day Saturday and don't really know anyone else up there. Also, does anyone know of a place I could pitch my tent? It looks like the reservations are all booked for sites, but I don't take up much room and am really quiet.. It looks like the campsites are all full. It'd be neater to camp than to stay at the notel-motel I have reserved that weekend (and I would split the site-cost)... |

I have a tent on my site already and I believe we are allowed 2 per site. Let me check with some others that we are camping with and see if we can't squeeze you in somewhere. |

If anyone is interested we are hosting the pasta dinner again this year. Saturday evening, same campground. Post in the thread if interested in joining us.
We had more than 20 for dinner at Door county and would love to top that number.
