I'm a little surprised at these results, which is why I'm glad I asked and didn't just assume here. More people are on triathlon bikes than I would have supposed.

Trek 2.3 with clip ons and a FF seat post. 

Even in roadie trim the bike's more comfortable with the FF post. Makes me think my frame is too big?

There are two reasons that is true. 

1) The Literal: you put a picture of a cool plane instead of a cat.

and 2) The figurative: a Jet taking off from a carrier usually requires a catapult which is also known as a "cat".  So this plane takes off and lands vertically with a jet "instead of a cat". 

Am I the only one who thinks that's funny?

Well, I've moved entirely to dus, but a tri bike (with aerobars). Specifically, a 2008 Specialized Transition with Zipp Vuka carbon bars.
