For anyone who did this race last year, can you reassure me that the bike route is well-marked and there are lots of alert volunteers telling us where to go? When I rode the first 40 miles of the course a few weeks ago I spent so much time and mental effort stopping to check my directions and I still went off-course a couple of times. I just don't want to miss a turn and end up in Easley or something.

sarah

rev3 is pretty good about course marking. its an honest course and you wont likely go off course on the day. hit me up with any other questions.

Is it just me, or is the run course 13 miles uphill!?!??Was out on Thursday to preview the bike and run.Rode the run course on my bike, eek!!Maybe I'm anxious, but it seemed crazy hilly.

Being from chicagoland I did the race this last year and the hills where not killer climbs they where just relentless. your going 15 or 30 most the ride. the hills are comparable to the madison ironman course but not as hard as the dells course
