I had swam once in the last 3 months. So for no training, I thought the swim wasn't I could feel my arms were tired but tried not to overpush myself, knowing I hanot trained. I got a horrible foot cramp as I was coming in to shore. It's a good thing I was done, because it was so bad I don't think I could have swum any more.
What would you do differently?:

Train... duh.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I had not been swimming, biking more than anything - but still not enoough - and rarely running. I was just happy to finish the race in one piece based on my lack of training for the race.
