Run
Comments: Run was good with a slow start. Mildly difficult to gauge my effort level with the hills. But after the turn was feeling much better. First race, so not used to the 'pack' at the front that you have to run through. But not bad at all. My 27:11 time was only 3 seconds slower than my PR so far (which was all on flat courses near my house). What would you do differently?: Run more hills, otherwise I was limber, hydrated and ready to run. Post race
Warm down: Meh, it's a 5k, just walking around and drinking water and the free stuff. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of hill training. Event comments: First race, so not sure how to rate everything with nothing to compare to. But well run and organized. No confusion, courteous runners and helpful volunteers. Will do the 8 miler next year. Last updated: 2012-08-14 12:00 AM
