Event warmup:

Weather was very hot, so I did not warm up at all. Normal pre-race stretch (about 15 min) and that was it.

Comments:

An early evening race after a day when the temperature where above 100 degrees. Still very hot at run time with the hear radiating off the asphalt--pretty brutal.
Post race
Warm down:

Drank plenty of water (2 full bottles). Was a little worried about salt, but it didn't turn out to be a problem.

Event comments:

First time at this local event and enjoyed it very much.Organizers had everything well planned, and with many local runners, it was a familiar and relaxed atmosphere.
