Comments: Love the sleveless wetsuit. I'm buying it today! BUT I still can't figure out the leg cramp thing... What would you do differently?: Not much, I started near the front, so it was a little bit of a cluster, but not too bad. I held my own this week and didn't let people get in my way. Transition 2
Comments: Bad time getting this suit off my ankles... BUT I did get into my shoes quickly without the socks. What would you do differently?: practice ankles on this new wetsuit. Run
Comments: I was thirsty right from the start of the run. This was a tough 5k for me... AGAIN. What would you do differently?: Take on some water at the start of the run. Post race
Warm down: walk around and lay down for a bit. Stretched some,but I felt BAD after the race. My head was pounding AND my calf cramped, plus my stomache was UCK for a while. Got there a little later than I would have liked, dinked around with my stuff, warmed up and then had to WAIT for my # and stuff. Lesson learned, pick up race packet immediately when there is no line...
1.5 mile jog with a few high knees, butt kicks, and pick ups to get the blood flowing.
