So there I was inocently resting in a park when a very evil person mentioned that since the racine sprint is on Sat. and the door county sprint is on Sun. it would be possible to do both.  Seeing as I'm going to be in racine Fri. niight anyway I just may do just that.  I only have see if it will be possible to get down to Racine early enough for packet pickup.  Have to wait till next week to see if my friend whom I'm driving down to Racine is free early enough.  He's on vacation right now.

I'll be there, but it's now looking like I may just do the swim and bike and bow out of the run.

I locked up the wetsuit rentals for this weekend...good practice for Chicago in August.  I'm looking forward to this...I think it's going to be a great weekend, and I get to mingle with Ray again.  I won't have to worry about a thing because apparently he's prepared enough for both of us.

So they posted an updated participant list and I wanted to know how many were in my division so I parsed the data in excal and sorted it.

I have 6 in XL2 - Masters
Amanda has  8 in XL4 - Open
Paul has 5 in XL1 - Open

As another note: The website says that there are awards for the top five finishers.  Though they don't specify whether this fo the sprint as weel as the HIM.

I don't be able to leave until I"m finished with work- which means, hopefully a 7th o'clock arrival- hopefully.  Maybe I'll be able to swing an early dismissal.

I'm now homeless.  My friend that I was originally staying with has bailed on me.  BUMMER!  I will be driving down from Madison on Saturday morning.  Anyone know what time transition area closes before the start of the race?

Ray, it looks like you and I will be off in the same wave.  I'll be wearing a wetsuit with the Team in Training Logo on it.  Flag me down if you spot me.

Paul.

Good luck everyone.  Because of finances and the fact my lodging for Friday night bailed- I'm out!  I have to work Saturday at 3:30pm so I'm missing the dinner (another reason racing was getting difficult) but, I hope I can swing down to cheer on some of the HIM.  We'll see on the gas situation.  Things are getting better.....soon the finances will be so solid I may be zooming around on a $5,000 tri bike!  ahahahahahah

Good luck gentlemen!!!  Wish I could score my packet of googies though!  BUMMER!
