Extreme Veteran 455 Centennial, CO | Subject: Cannondale Multisport 2000 - talk me out of buyers remorse Just bought from a very nice guy locally, a connondale CAAD4 Mulitsport 2000 tri bike for $800. It is in almost brand new condition - with only about 200 miles on it - and doesn't even really need a tune up. So....did I get a good deal - Is this a decent tri bike? I just don't want to have buyers remorse in the morning.
ps...I did buy the right size - but need to have it fitted correctly now.

Master 1938 La Crosse | Subject: RE: Cannondale Multisport 2000 - talk me out of buyers remorse Wow, that's hella cheap for a well-equipped tri bike, not even hardly broken in. I'm jealous. You did want 650 c wheels, right? There's a much more heavily used (2000 miles) similarly equipped Cannondale Aero Multisport on Ebay for just over a grand (at the moment). You did very, very well. |

Regular 86 Arlington, TX | Subject: RE: Cannondale Multisport 2000 - talk me out of buyers remorse You got ripped off! Just kidding. It's almost impossible to find that level of components for that price. Good job! |

Champion 8903 | Subject: RE: Cannondale Multisport 2000 - talk me out of buyers remorse Yup, ditto what everyone else said...definitely a good deal. The only change you might consider would be swapping out the freewheel for a 12x23 or 12x25...depending on your normal riding terrain, amount of hills, riding style, etc.

Vancouver, BC | Subject: RE: Cannondale Multisport 2000 - talk me out of buyers remorse Beware of Cannondale Coda stem failure. I own the Cannondale Multisport 2000 and while out riding it snapped off and down I went. I didn't crash, it broke off while I was in the aero position. Signs to watch out for are unexplained creaking noises. Support from Cannondale has also been lacking. |

Vancouver, BC | Subject: RE: Cannondale Multisport 2000 - talk me out of buyers remorse Yes, because if someone is searching on information on this particular bicycle then they will find this thread. It was one of the top search results in Google for Cannondale Multisport 2000. I didn't care about resurrecting an old thread in comparison to having a stem break mid-ride, and hopefully preventing it from happening to someone else. |
