Just finished reading "Breaking the Chain" by Willy Voet, Festina's soigneur.  I'm not nieve about drug use in the Peleton but this book is freightening at the lengths that it was occurring in the Festina team and the peleton in the 90's.  Very interesting read.

I'm about half way through the Hamilton book, its almost laughable now when you hear Lance (or any cyclist/athlete) say they have never failed a test.

Very eye opening.

Hamilton, the upstanding citizen that has quite a few, and well document, failed drug tests... stripped on Olympic medals, etc. etc. etc. Yeah, I'll take his word for it.

I also believed Landis after reading his book.  In fact I believe I posted that last year here after I finished reading it.

Hard to believe any of these guys.

The book is field with accounts from others as well verfify accounts, but my post was speicficially referring to ahtletes being a decade ahead of the tests. Then once EPO was tested, the test couldn't pick up micro dosing until Landis actually told them that in 2010.

The micro does could be taken at 10pm and out of your system by 7am, the testers at the time couldn't show up during that window.

Is it a good read?  Not thrilled about Hamilton either, but will read his book also if it's any good.
