Subject: Welcome to Minnesota
3 days ago it was so cold it took over 50 miles on the bike before my feet warmed up enough to feel them. Today I ran in 95 degree temps. The next 10 weeks of IM training frightens me.

Agreed!  I was riding north along the mississippi and everything felt great.  I turned around and bam the wind was in my face the whole way back.

We're lucky to live in a state with annual 140 degree temperature swings   I feel bad for those people in S. California who have to put up with 70 and sunny EVERY DAY.  Sheesh.

I've converted to mountain bike season. The wind isn't nearly as much of a factor when you are averaging 14 mph riding through wooded trails!

Always good hearing from ya Ryan. Looks like 70's, sunny and very little wind for tomorrows 6 hour brick. Wow!
