Did some light static stretching and drank some Powerade about 30 minutes before.

Comments:

The run was great as I set a new PR. My HR was higher than normal but I felt strong the whole way. I think the higher HR was due to having eaten too much and not the right food before the event.
What would you do differently?:

Control pre event nutrition.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around for about 10 minutes. Ingested some carbs via a half pizza slice and banana and drank some water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heavy stomack due to poor pre event nutrition.
