#2000 was last Friday. I'm an idiot. Feel free to insert "obsessed", "stubborn", "tired", "monumental", "deranged", or any other word in front of "idiot" to augment the previous sentence.

Today will be #2003 at lunch.

I got to 103 in 100 when the challenge ended last week..I was up by seven with around two weeks to go but a vacation + mental-quit and I kind of limped it to the finish. The challenge gave me a new level of respect for those who run every day. Knees held up, I got some base miles, and I'll probably go again in 2020. Let's play two..

Nice job on getting there!

Yesterday was #2096. I'm averaging 4 per day so far for 2019.

Today was #2136. Still averaging just a little more than 4 per day in 2019. Closing in on 6 years at the end of July.

Sunday marked 6 years (2191 days) as I finished 7th overall at the Ludington sprint triathlon. Crazy thing is that a 7th place finish was only good for 3rd in my AG (technically 4th, as the overall race winner was also in my AG but they moved him into the overall awards category).

Today was #2194 with a 4 miler at lunch. So far this year, I have averaged 4 or more miles a day for each individual month. Planning on keeping that going for the rest of the year.

Might venture back in to training for a marathon or at least a half as August rolls on. Still want to get to a full Ironman at some point.

Are you more right brained or left brained? And what does each side control? Music, memory and even survival instincts are controlled by neither side of the brain, but a harmonious balance of each

Still going.

New Year's Day was #2348 with a 4 miler in the morning. That is about 6 years and 5 months.

1541 miles in 2020, thus averaging over 4 miles every day.

Still going despite the near quarantine status here in Michigan. It is odd how few people I am seeing also out running while I have been getting mine in.

Today was #2427 for 4 miles. That's 381 miles on the year, averaging more than 4 per day for the year.

Anyone else still getting this done?

Yep! Will hit 7 years at the end of the summer, assuming I stay healthy.

It just somehow works for me, but there are days when I wonder what the f#@% I'm doing.

Just incredible..

Around these parts there are a lot of people running outside, at all hours. I continue to live on the treadmill, tho..

Unfortunately, I don't have a treadmill, and of course my YMCA has been closed for two weeks, so I'm getting mine done outdoors, rain, sleet, snow, or shine.

I'm still at it and glad to see you fellas are too. It occured to me the this week I've run every single day of my forties. Yesterday was #1701, though I have to admit that includes a recent 17-minute mile that might only be called a "run" by someone with the flu and a streak to protect.

My gym has been closed for a while, so I'm outdoors too. I don't miss the treadmill, but I do miss the indoor track. I usually run with the dog, so he enforces a 2 meter space around me.

Glad to see you're still at it.

Yeah, I actually started a few months before my 40th birthday too! So I can say the same...I've run every day through my forties thus far!

And yes, that 17 minute mile counts. I had to do similar a few years ago when I was really sick. I'd run a quarter mile, and then just sit down for a couple minutes to avoid puking, and then get up and do it again until I had 2 miles in.

Made it to 7 years yesterday with 4 miles on day #2557. Added another 6 miles this morning to start my eighth year of it.

I have to say, I'm sick of 94% humidity whenever I go out the door in the morning.

Still at it. My legs and ankles are torched from running on some very uneven slop from snowplows for the last week.

4 miles this morning for #2717. Heading towards 8 years this summer.

Finished 2020 with ~1561 miles running.
