Since I had a tri this past Sunday I started that day with the 2 mile run.  Even ran in the rain Monday with my son (he's agreed to run with me during the week on my short runs).

That's already a win!

I love running in the rain.  Also - way cool your son is running with you.

Day 5 is in the books (last night), but I have to say - IT WAS FRICKING BRUTAL!!!

PR'ed Day 4 - and it felt great, then was thinking I might not make it last night.  Maybe I went out a little hard on Day 4.

Got Day 3 done last night.... just two short runs to and from a meeting.

It was a mile from my house, and 1.7 back home... did the run out sub-7:00, so I'm super stoked about that

Well I was going to start after the Marathon, but I am at 4 days in a row right now. I had a 12.5, 2, 3, 5.5 this morning. I am going to keep it going and maybe do some recovery runs after the marathon to keep the streak going. I might shoot for the 100 runs in 100 days. Its nice to look at the posts and see someone else ran, it motivates you to go out for a quick 20 minute run.

Day 5 done.  It was a short one, only 3 mile brick, but got to keep the streak alive.  I can't say it's a great sign that I'm already having trouble counting how many days have passed.

I hated me yesterday too!  Day 5 run hurt.  The good news is that today I feel better.  About to head out for Day 6 run.

I think our mutual hatred of me on given days is misdirected - this is LeftBrains fault.  He's the one who posted the question about 100 runs in 100 days and started us down this path.

I was on vacation and didn't see this when it started. How are doubles being counted? Didn't see that mentioned.

Ran 3.4 miles with my YMCA run club and had a beer and listened to live music afterwards Laughing. So glad the weather is cooling off.

Thanks Trishie,

It's really more of just a reflection of where my mind is and a reminder to myself that I should probably track these somewhere.  For some reason today felt like a Tuesday.

Good luck all

Maybe we should do a 30 beers in 30 days challenge after this.

Sounds like your run was awesome!

I'm still holding back.....PF hurt me.  If/when I get to 20 I may loosen the brakes a bit...but so far I'm enjoying being able to run again with no pain.....I'm running slow, but I'm happy.
