  • 2112 yards
  • 01m 47s / 100 yards
Comments:

Felt great for the swim. Relaxed. First time wearing new one piece tri suit under wet suit and heart rate monitor on as well. I had put my just eaten Cliff turoshot wrapper in my wet suit beacuse there was not a trash barrel near the swim start. The wrapper made it's way to the front of my armpit and was digging into my shoulder as I swam. Just a distraction.
What would you do differently?:

Not much.
Transition 1
  • 04m 21s
Comments:

Long run up the grass hill from the water. I walked half of it. I took my time to make sure I had all I needed for the Bike. 1 more gel after swim before bike.
What would you do differently?:

could alway be faster.

Run
  • 2h 03m 51s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 09m 27s  min/mile
Comments:

Felt good overall. stopped at every aid station filled my bottle with gatorade. Mistakenly filled it once with coke, took one sip. dumped it. I dont care for runs with two loops. I would have prefered an out and back or a single loop
Post race
Warm down:

Drank some water. Great turkey dinner, packed up suff. changed clothes at the truck. d

What limited your ability to perform faster:

not much. I was happy with my results

Event comments:

Would like to have had more aid stations. Would also have liked to have ice at the aid stations.
