Subject: Rock 'n' Roll Denver Half Marathon : Official Thread

This will be my first race in over a year, and will kick off my training for next summer.  I estimated a 2:00 finish when I registered, which may be a bit ambitious, but we shall see!


Who else will be on the course Saturday?

I'll be there! Back in February when I registered, I was shooting for a sub-2 half, but thanks to life and some medical stuff, I'm thinking 2:20 may be optimistic. It should be a fun time, anyway. This is one of my favorite races every year...fun course, good course support, the bands. Just wish Competitor would stop jacking the price up so much. The only reason I could afford it is because I jumped on the $29 off leap year special in February!

Good luck to all of you!  Competitor puts on a great race.  I did the RnR Chicago 1/2 in July and I'm doing the Vegas full in December.  Have fun and run fast.

Good luck to everyone running the R & R this weekend.  I ran the full 3 times, it is a fun and fairly flat course.  I thought about running the half as a tune up race for NYCM but decided to run a 10 miler in Oct. instead.  Again good luck, the weather should be perfect this weekend.
