First time.  This is my first season.  I did Memorial Hermann Sugar Land and loved the bike and run course.  I am glad it will be a good 15 degrees cooler this time.

I'm going to go with the Fairfield Tri - it's the same distance.  From reading they have pretty good food afterwards.   LOL  Cool

do people generally wear wetsuits for this tri? this is my first season and 2nd tri, but i don't want to buy a wetsuit and then overheat in it though it's probable that it will be wetsuit legal.

It was wetsuit legal last year - by one degree.  It was my first tri and I was close to wearing the wetsuit, but opted out.

There are no wetsuit strippers so unless you're well practiced at getting out of your suit, any time you save may be lost in transition.

Having said that, depending on your swimming ability, it would have been nice to have had the flotation device that is a wetsuit as my first swim did not go...well... swimmingly.
