Subject: Scott Tinley Triathlon, 9/29

This weekend will be my first triathlon (sprint) at the Scott Tinley Triathlon held at Lopez Lake.

Any other BT users going to be there?  Anyone else doing their first triathlon?

It was my first and second triathlon back in 2003 and 2004.  Loved it!

I really need to get back there one year, but it's not this year.

Be sure to make your top priority to Have Fun! I won't make it this year, but I did the Poly tri three years ago in my first season, and I loved the Lopez venue. With the hills, it's worth riding the coarse beforehand to be confident of gears and brakes; triathletes who are new to the route lose a lot of time to people who can push the descent and know the climbs.
