Uh.  Not to play favorites or anything, but the one on this site is pretty sweet...and free!

X2 - I've used paper, my own spreadsheets, training peaks, slowtwitch and the best I've found is the one right here. I log both using computer and my iphone. I like that it tracks all the stuff that matters to me including equipment use. It also really is a great help when people give advice on this forum.

I use a 7x9 inch notebook(I think thats the size)

The top open space: Week of training plan, milage for each discipline for the week and cumulative for the particular build.

On the front of the page:
-Month
-Day
-Weight(daily for me to make sure I dont go into free fall, I have zero that I can afford to lose)
-Discipline/Distance/time
-Pace
-Average heart rate
-simple notes: 'didnt sleep well' '4am run' 'huge swells' etc

The back:
-More detailed notes, especially progress on goals, sometimes I whine.

I have been using the same log system since 1997

I use dailymile because I have friends who use it and I know they'll both hold me accountable and cheer me on. I was using bt as well, but crap, who has time to train for an ironman AND update two different sites???

Another vote for the BT logs.  Very easy to use.  I especially like the equipment tracking to keep tabs on how many miles I put on my shoes.
