were going to be in STL next weekend for a wedding in Arnold (grandmas house, Fenton (aunt and uncles house) area.

My fience and I are looking to find a place to run 12 miles in our taper for our marathon in 3 weeks. In KC we have an amazing asphalt trail to run on and trying to find something like that to run on. or a 4 mile loop that we can get on.

thanks for the advice.

Tower Grove Park is a beautiful park in St. Louis. I don't live in St. Louis, actually from Kansas City, but Tower Grove Park pretty much beats any park Kansas City has. That I can think of...

Heres the map.

Forest Park has nice asphalt trails plus you can hit Art Hill in front of the art gallery to do hill repeats if you need to.

If you're going to be around Fenton then you could run Grant's Trail which starts in Kirkwood then goes for 8 miles. It's pretty flat and paved with a few spots where you'll have to stop due to traffic lights. It's about a 10min drive from Fenton.

You could also run Castlewood State Park which is kind of close to Fenton too.

If you want a continuous run then head over to Forest Park and run the outer loop which is 6 miles. There will be a few medium hills on this run but not bad at all. I'd say it's about 20-25 mins from Fenton.

If you want hills, then head out to Babler State Park and run the trails there.
