Anyone want to meet for a pre-ride of the course this Saturday 0700? RMS is having one on Sunday 0900 but I can't go then.

I'm familiar with the Brickman course from last year at the Midlo Y but looks like they've moved it back to the ACAC, which I've never been to.  Is this near the Tavern course?  What kind of ride are we lookin at here?

THe ride isn't bad except for one long hill on Winterfield. It isn't steep but keeps climbing over about a mile distance. The rest is relatively flat going through the Salisbury neighborhood. My son did it when he was 16 on hybrid bike with no problem and he rarely exercises.

Exactly like Chasing Chicken in the spring... cold, rainy, hard to keep muscles warm. My swim and bike paces were slower than the half iron three weeks ago. Missed podium by 23 seconds.  Oh well, better luck next time. Will post race report later.

That is exactly why I don't do any races in April; crappy weather and not enough good weather to train in before the race.

Sorry you missed the podium. I was 6/22 in my AG and I was pretty satisfied with my performance. But a podim is always nice.
