Somewhere in the Middle East there's a guy on a message board writing the same thing from a different point of view; there will always be a segment of the Western world that despises Islam and which will always seek to do them.

That's an entirely different problem to have than a segment of a population that wants to do you harm.  Gives a new meaning to "watch your back."

Only difference right now at least is that we are not going over their and targeting their civilians so they will change their actions.

Perhaps that is because the Western world has been watching Big Bird.

I can't even imaging why this is such a issue. Back when I was growing up we had 3 channels. I get it. today we have 300. We have the internet. We have 100 news outlets. I don't get it.

The singing cats were cool though. Wink

I was referencing how more information (and more just "stuff" in general) leads to greater dissension and polarization on not just two fronts but multiple fronts. Hence the major disagreement with 300 channels and 100 news outlets.
