I agree about the heat, it was toasty in there - I could really feel the difference when the fans turned my way. I did a little better than I did last year, posting a 13.3 overall, and was happy to place in the top 30% this year. But what about the guy that did 2 miles in the pool? I mean, isn't the world record for a mile something like 14 minutes? That guy would have needed to go at a record pace for twice the distance! Wow!

Wow!  That's crazy.

I did see some impressive swimming when we walked by the pool at times.   I think it would be fun to watch, although I bet the lap counters got tired of it.
