Watching just a bit Biden is coming off as rude and angry. Ryan seems polite and more specific if a bit irritated

BrianRunsPhilly - 2012-10-11 9:35 PM Wow am I glad I decided to watch. Biden is a rabid dog. This is world class entertainment.

it is...quite impressive.

the moderator is a huge improvement over the first debate, as well.  if you need a job done right, you need to bring in a woman

Here here!

Martha won for sure, great moderator.  Ryan's closing arguments were terrible, a bunch of talking points.  Biden's was at least heartlfelt.

She was a great moderator, interrupting Ryan 5 times give or take to Interrupting Biden once, most of the times Ryan was making a point when she did.

I heard the time was almost dead even, with Biden having just a few seconds more, not sure if they counted all the time Biden was interrupting while Ryan was talking.

On Iran, the difference was for the most part schematics imo.

Abortion, a big win for Obiden imo.

Economy, from the debate I would say close to a draw listening to the two men.

Libya, near a draw, though Biden was lying out his very pearly white teeth.

Who came off as more dignified or vice presidential, Ryan a clear winner.

I'm very biased, but think this would be draw.

I thought the debate was ideologically a draw.  Joe Biden came off as a total to me, though.

Biden needed to have a strong showing and he did that. Though IMO, his interruptions and laughing made him look like a punk at times. Not presidential. But he did what he needed to...he didn't F}*£ up. Ryan really kept his composer. I think I would have knocked Biden out...with a single punch!

Delivery-wise, Biden was excellent.  I loved the fire in the belly!  He didn't let Ryan get away with shenanigans...he called him out on the mullarkey.  Loved it!  Joe represented Delaware well tonight.  btw, the moderator was fantastic.

Except, Biden can talk until he's blue in the face, fact is B.O. obviously doesn't know what he's doing and has no idea how to create jobs, unemployment is actually more like 14%, horrible. Status quo is really bad, I can't figure out why people think B.O. is going to suddenly improve economy, have I missed his epiphany???

Libya, near a draw, though Biden was lying out his very pearly white teeth.

Ug, "they didn't ask for protection". What?!? Yes, there was lots of lying going on there.

Who came off as more dignified or vice presidential, Ryan a clear winner.

Unfortunatley your are probably correct, Biden's stupid smirks and interuptions were distracting with the split screen. People will take away what they want from it I guess.

I'm looking forward to the Tues. debate, I hope Romney keeps his strong debating skills from last time. I do think B.O. will be better schooled and may try to channel Biden

Oh, just as a point of interest, I heard the moderater was either a guest of the Obama's wedding or they were guests at hers, sorry I forgot which but I do know her husband and B.O. are very good friends from college. Interesting. Ok, I gotta hit the sack!

I think he gave the base what they wanted but im not sure how well it will play in the middle. Takeaway the rudeness I think Joe won, throw in the rudeness Andi think tie at best or even a slight ryan win.I also think Joe stepped in it with Libya directly contradicting the state department.

Obama looked like he didn't want to be debating Romney in the first place.

Biden looked like he never wanted his debate with Ryan to end.  Ryan may have give conservatives what they wanted to hear, but Biden gave America what they wanted to hear.

If you thought this debate was a draw... you missed the total eviseration of a high school debate kid by his seasoned principal.  It demonstrated the difference between a man who is justifiably a heartbeat away from the presidency...and a plebe.

Obama couldn't have expected anything more from his #2, and it's about time, as Obama has had to cover for Joe many times.  This time, it was the other way around.  Looking forward to next week, and seeing if the president can earn his right for another 4 years of not having to fly commercial.

She tried really hard to beequal but with all the Ryan interruptions and sharp followups her bias slipped through a bit. I still think she did well

Honestly, it's funny how subjective rating debate performances can be.  I am psyched to see the next debate.  I'll leave it at that.

Listened to the last 30 minutes in the truck, missed the rest. But Biden's interruptions and Raddatz's interruptions were noticeable.

On the Catholicism/abortion question, Biden won if you're pro abortion, but Ryan could've won had he said "this decision should rest with the states." That's been Romney's position for a while. Biden may be denied communion this Sunday after his answer...

I was going to say draw, but when even the CNN panel agrees that Biden's smirks and interruptions weren't "presidential" that's not good for OBiden. Oh and Biden got 1:43 more than Ryan according to CNN.

Going in, the pundits said Biden had to really dominate and he didn't. Obama has to try to save himself next week. It's gonna be interesting.
