Subject: Suffolk County Swimming

Where does everyone swim in Suffolk County? Bonus points if you have solutions somewhere between main st smithtown (near where I live) and MacArthur Airport (near where I work).

Would be interested in a Master's swim group, but mostly just need somewhere to swim 2-3 times per week. Otherwise looks like I'll be getting my gym membership at the LA fitness on main st in smithtown which I am trying to avoid.

I swim in 1 of three places all at the YMCA...typically at Bayshore Y since its closer to my work, or Patchogue Y since its closer to home or just 5 minutes up the road is the Holtsville Y which is a little older but usually has a lot of open swim times except for the summer ...this one may be the closest to Macarthur.

Have you looked into Suffolk community college in Brentwood?

Thanks for the response and the one PM I received. I just realized I should have searched this topic before posting. Found out a lot of the info I was looking for.
