Comments:

Most painful run ever - hit the wall at mile 16 and totally crashed at mile 20, walked from mile 24 to finish. Not prepared for that distance, went out way too fast for a full marathon. First 15 miles were sub 8:00 pace - big mistake, got caught up in the energy of the race - next time, stick to the damn plan!!! Should have paced myself at 8:25 and finished strong.
What would you do differently?:

Pace at my training pace, don't get caught up in the hype of the event.

Course: SUPER NICE course, perfect race for the first time marathon - really flat, a few samll rolling hills, nothing steep. The out and back section is 7 miles each way and seems like it takes forever.
