There's a huge difference from what weather.com and accuweather are forecasting for that weekend.  Accuweather has it at high of 69, with the Friday overnight low at 51, cloudy and no rain.  I would take that!  But two days ago they had the high at 88 degrees.  I've come to the conclusion that they just don't know and can't predict tomorrow that finitely, much less next week.  The saying in Florida has always been, if you don't like the weather wait a few minutes and it will change.....

But I will continue to look at the forecast 5 times a day for the next week and continue to stress about it even though it is completely out of my control...

The only weather-related thing I stress about is if it's so bad they cancel one of the legs of the race...or the whole thing.  While I'd rather ride/run in clear conditions, I've done enough wet/cold/etc. rides that I just don't stress about 'em.  Will my times go down?  Absolutely, but it is what it is....probably all that darn randonneuring I do.

Now you've got me bookmarking the sites and obsessing. I have raced in just about every weather condition, and prefer warm and dry - but I'll just deal with whatever comes and make the best of it.

Hopefully, the rain will come late or at least it waits until we all get off the bike. Remember, when the threat of rain is high, hydrate accordingly because the humidity will be high. According to Accuweather, the winds will be high (15mph+ w 20+gusts)

Personally, I've been nursing a cold/flu for past few days. This morning feeling a lot better, time to liven the legs.

Everything is saying thunderstorms. Anybody think they would cancel the race due to storms? That would be awful..

If it's Thunder storming (lighting & thunder) when swim starts then it may be delayed, but I would think once everyone's out of the water it would be hard to clear the course (My speculation- I'm sure this will get addressed at the meeting on Fri.). I think we may get wet, but it shouldn't be an all day soaker.

Ya, I could care less about getting wet. I'm just driving down from ATL for the race and I would hate to waster all the time/money for it to be cancelled. It's just a training race, but I need to see where the fitness is at!!
