Pre-race routine:

Late race (10:30), so I had a normal breakfast, some oatmeal around 8:30, and then sipped some Roctane drink and had a gel about 20 minutes pre-race. Should have had a PowerBar on the way to the race.
Event warmup:

LONG warm up. Heel was feeling extra achy (from being on my feet with Henry a lot yesterday?). So did over a 3 mile WU. Stretched a bit with Jeremy.

Work mile 2 harder.

Warm down:

Nothing. Kept calf sleeves on all day. Stretched 2 hours later at Jens, and foam rolled heel in the PM.
