Run
What would you do differently?: I didn't train properly - I did my long runs with a friend who runs much slower than me. So I had done the time, but not enough speed work or pace work. Post race
Warm down: Hang out. What limited your ability to perform faster: taining and weight. Event comments: I may sound like an old curmudgeon - but I hate the way that so many women wear headphones. It makes for a boring race when no one is chatting. It was a quiet group of women. I even heard a couple of GPS's giving turn-by-turn directions. Really? You need that when there are a 1000 other women running with you and oodles of volunteers at every turn? Turn off and tune in to your fellow runners! Last updated: 2012-10-31 12:00 AM

I got there very early. Too early, but on the upside, I got a great parking space!
Ran about 15 minutes, then walked around for about 30 minutes. Did a bit of stretching too.
