Comments:

Had a crash at mike 59 - survived but killed my drive - I was a very happy camper and above my avg pace of 16 mph - then I had a low speed crash at an aid station. this hurt my shoulder and knee also caused a front flat. I can change a flat in 3-5 minutes but with a newly bummed wing it took me about 20. Also I was not able to comfortably get into the aero position for the rest of the ride.
What would you do differently?:

Not test gravity
Transition 2
  • 05m 23s
Run
  • 5h 11m 48s
  • 26.2 miles
  • 11m 54s  min/mile
Comments:

the first nine miles were painful - each step pounded my shoulder - after nine miles I was OK.
What would you do differently?:

run faster?

Course: I normally seed myself right and back of the pack and did so for this race as well = I think I got a little lost and my goggles continued to go fog. it took 54 minutes on the first lap (I saw an AG unzipping as I was turning left for my second lap) - i was not a happy camper but such is life sometimes - second lap I used up too much on the first lap to try any catch-up. My Garmin showed I swam 2.7 miles
