Alright.  Who is in any of the races.  I here the off road are tough.  This is a fun event.  Coming out of the cave I laughed half way through the first 5K.

The bike is hard.  Chip seal and some hills.

DJ man you going?

I'll be there.  Running the T-rex course.

I don't really care for 3009, maintenance on it is non existent practically.  Really rough riding.  1863 isn't so bad and Krueger canyon road is actually pretty nice if not for the climb hahaha...

Anyone have any idea what the gradient on that steep section of Krueger Canyon is?  I try and ride that loop once a week, but I've take a cut over to 3009 into Garden Ridge and then get off of it as soon as I can due to the poor condition of the chip seal.

Haven't decided yet.  I haven't been on my bike since Kerrville!  Just been running.

Clock is ticking.  Had a bad week last week.  I've got three bulging discs in my lower back and last Tuesday tweaked my back and put me out of commission last week.

Feeling better today, going to try and get a run in this evening.  Won't be shooting out the lights at this race I can tell you that.  Just enjoy it for what it is this time around.

Hey I did a 52 mile ride at Steiner Ranch Sat and then wrenched my back putting up Xmas decorations.   I hope to run tonight.

I hope your better.  I will be in the Red Beef Team  T shirt with the Spicewood Demoltion Derby Visor.  Say Hello.  This is a fun race.

Happy Holidays

Yeah I've managed to get a few runs in and did a few spinning classes...dang shorter days are killing me.

Tough break on tweaking the back doing something like that.

I'll be there in the blue and black one piece tri suit with neon yellow shoes.  I'll keep an eye out for you.  I look forward to it, just going to go out and have a good work out and have fun.  Still not back to 100% but back enough to race.

Glad your better.  Look forward to this race.

Maybe Djastroman will come or he might chicken out.  He might get clostraphobia in the cave.

Gamesbolt-dont know if you in town, but you can catch a ride down if you want.

Happy Holidays.

Don't think I'll make it gents.  Although I do need to get back on the bike one of these days.  It's hard though because everytime I do something other than run I feel bad for not running.  Too many miles to get in before Rocky!

Just a warning it is supposed to be cold that morning.  Like in the upper 30's so my uniform of the day may change.

What a great race.  Prior to Sunday I completed this race two years ago and there were less than 100 participants.  There had to be over 300 people there on Sunday.  The trail run was tough.  My legs on the third part were tight.

Hope everyone had a good race.

Happy Holidays.

Dwight

I was very Happy with my performance.  I felt good on the runs, even though it was more of an off road trail type of run with a big @$$ hill.  I passed a few people and I was only passed twice.

I nailed the bike 18.8 mph average.  Check the times on redemption.  Bike times were around 21-22 for the tope performers.  I was only passed twice and I passed a boat load of people.

I finished 5 in AG and 21st overall.  Some great triathaletes at this event.

I had a great time.  Running out of the cave is a blast.

You doing Calaveres in Feb? or Blue Northerner.

Hey that's awesome dude!  I'm planning on doing Blue Norther and Enchanted Rock if I can get in.  All depends on how much I can get back on the bike and how well I recover from Rocky.

Agreed.  The race was a lot of fun.  I did not like the trail run, especially with a dark 0630 start time.  I was running very cautiosly for fear of turning an ankle.  But coming out of the cave was a blast.  The bike was a good challenging representation of Hill Country riding despite the fact that they cut our the Kruger Canyon climb section.

I was in a very think age group so I managed to place, but looking at my times vs. the #1 I wasn't going to catch him either way.  Finished up my first season with a good race, I'm definately hooked, and looking forward to a great 2013.

Dwight it was great to meet you.  Always helps to have someone out on the course you know for encouragement.  We'll see you down the road somewhere I'm sure.
