Thanksgiving Day Run

Veteran  337  |  Subject: Thanksgiving Day RunComing into the Ft. Lauderdale area for Thanksgiving. What are the local road races in the Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation/Sunrise/Weston area?? I have already found the Ft. Lauderdale Turkey Trot, but that's it. Any others?? |

| 8 | Subject: RE: Thanksgiving Day Run There is the Tamarac Turkey Trot (5K), it is a little north of Sunrise/Weston area. It draws lots of local college runners home for the holiday. If you want a shirt, I recommend you register online in advance as this races gets a big crowd and often runs out of shirt sizes on race day. It is a loop course through a residental area. The Miami Turkey Trot in Holiday Park offers a 5K and 10K. This race is run entirely in the park. |
