I am going to be walking it with 2 friends dressed in Tutu's. Yell if you see us.  I did not train for it hence the reason I'm walking it.

I will call out if I see tutus. Even if it isn't you, I'll be saying TUTUTUTU!

I'll be hanging right onto the 3:05 pacer. I'll not be sure what I'm wearing till the night before. With the latest weather reports, I'm hoping it'll be black shorts and a red shirt with black long sleeves.

I'm running the half but taking it easy...due to bad planning, it's only 2 weeks before my first ever full, so will be doing my best to keep it as a final long slow training run...good luck with your BQ attempt!!

Registered but have no child care so it looks like I'm going to have to miss it unless I put baby in a backpack and walk the course. Or I will sleep in, write it off and try again next year.

Best of luck to everyone racing this weekend. I will not be able to race this year as I am on business travel (down under). Hopefully the weather will be better than last year and everyone sets a PR for the race.

Those hills were pretty rough!

The pacer dropped me around mile 18, and the 3:10 pacer found me 5 miles later.

Beautiful day though!

Yes, what a perfect day for a marathon!!

The last 6.2 is particularly difficult in Seattle. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

I am NEVER walking a 1/2 again! I was in SO much pain from it! 4 hours later I could hardly walk! Will train and RUN it, much easier.

Yeah, I think at a certain point, "time on your feet" becomes a bigger factor than any averaged level of sustained effort.

I'm so glad to hear you say that! (Not that I wish you pain). I walked it this year because my daughter wanted to do it with me. I kept saying "this was much easier when I ran"; it seemed to last FOREVER and my feet were killing me a the end. That's a long distance for a slow pace.
