Comments: I went considerably faster than I expected to. I met up with a friend from work and he was there with another friend who was expecting to run around 22 minutes. So I decided to just follow him and try to hang. I lost some ground after a mile or so, but I could still see it and I kept pace as much as I could. I did not look at my Garmin during the race, since I did not want to see a fast pace and feel like I was going too hard. Towards the end, I went faster trying to catch a guy that was 100 ft in front of me but he also kicked it and I never made it. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race

Woke up, got ready and had some chocolate milk with toast with peanut butter and jelly. Then drove to the race site, getting there 40 minutes before the start time.
Run for a little over a mile and added a few strides at the end, then stretched. Finished doing this with 15 minutes to go.
