Anyone want to commit to ride at least 30 minutes, 4 days a week, during December?

We can keep track on this thread and/or in our logs.

I'm starting tracking of the challenge on Monday, December 3rd.

You are becoming quite the challenge queen aren't you!!! (that is a good thing )

I am in because I need to get motivated for next April and winter riding is my first true love!

Hope you don't mind but I won't be doing any inside riding!  Thanks for the thought can't believe December is already here!

Let's see what you got Bill...

I was only planning on doing 2x45 + 1x60  but I may be able to fit another 30 into the plan (especially if I drop 2 runs a week )

might me in but not   sure about getting the bike in between Dec. 22 and Dec. 30 as I will be in Jamaica and the stationary bikes are not the best at the resort I as staying at. Must of the time I will run on the beach for an hour before breakfast the swim in the ocean mid afternoon but could try and get 30 mins. a day in

Great job Judi!!!

I had a really stressful end of the week. Some real bummer things happened at work  that took the wind completely out of my sails.

Looking at my trainer but just not having any motivation to do anything. I hate this feeling.

That sounds just fantastic. I've never been to Jamaica but it's my brother's favorite vacation destination.

Count me in too, please! I was only planning on starting up three days a week, but am fairly certain I can squeeze in a short half hour ride per week to bump it up to four. I'm also having serious trainer motivation issues; it's sitting there mocking me as I type. Maybe I'll start with a nice little 30 minute ride today before diving into this challenge tomorrow. Happy cycling everyone!

Got another ride in today, OUTSIDE in December?  Why yes.  Cannot resist sunshine, light wind and 60 degree weather.

That sounds wonderful. It was almost 70 here today, so my run was amazing. It seems crazy to be wearing shorts in December. (I'm a wimp in cold weather and wear capris or tights as soon as the temperature dips to below 50).

I'm looking forward to starting the challenge tomorrow. We're going to try to get my trainer adjusted (I've been having a lot of trouble; it seems related to my 650 tires -- according to the Cycleops people), and then I'll be ready to hit it.

So jealous!!! Beautiful weather here in Tampa and I was stuck at home. Hubby was working and my son had a friend over. Gonna get on the trainer.. stupid trainer.

Good luck to us all...

Another ride on my commute.

??? - Does my commute count for 2 rides since it is 20+ miles each way?

Just checking or do I have to ride 4 days a week? (I probably should do this anyways )

Good question and honestly, it's up to you.

The idea is to have the challenge... so ... the best choice is what "ups" whatever you are currently doing....
