Subject: Bike Wheels
I've been looking at getting some race wheels.  Most of the wheels say they have 2 options.  Either Shimano or Campy.  What is the difference between the two?  I thought I remember seeing a site that showed a comparison, but can't find it again.

Describes what hub they have, and thus what drive train they are compatible with. Most likely your bike has a Shimano drivetrain, so that is the kind of wheel you would need.

The Campy or Shimano refers to the hub compatability. So if you have Shimano cassette/ derailleurs on your bike, you will need a Shimano compatable hub. As far as a comparison of Campy & Shimano, I wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole! That particular topic seems to evoke a passion the like of which I have never seen.
