Holding steady at the same weight as last week. my weight was down a few more pounds this weekend, as i finally had time to train after another stressful week. maybe the homemade oatmeal cookies last night didn't help to keep that poundage off. don't have another race i'm training for yet, so once i choose that i'll be more motivated.

start/goal: 130/120
last week: 128
this week: 128
lbs to go: 8
% loss: 20%

The weight is coming of much slower now! I have been counting calories and calculating my workouts. In the food traker program that I use, it encourages you to eat all your workout calories earned, but I am thinking about maybe not eating them ALL...just maybe some of them. Just my thinking...

Great job everyone!

Put 1 on from 2 weeks ago. Not too disapointed as I've taken the last 2 weeks off due to work & travel.

Back on the program today!

At least I started going back the direction I wanted to this week.  I will have another challenging week this week coming up.  My schedule gets a little hectic and then I am going on a small cruise/vacation with 2 of my girlfriends towards the end of the week and into next week.  My goals for that are not too over indulge (too much) and to run every morning at sunrise while I'm gone.  I love sunrises, so I'm sure it would be very nice on the ocean.  My goal is not to gain any weight (and even better if I lose a little) by my weigh in next Wednesday when I get back in town.

 Start/Goal 141/130
Last week: 142
This week: 140
Lbs. to go: 10

Sort of a rough week. Played softball last wed night and fractured my hand and bruised my ribs. The fracture wasn't too bad, just below the wrist on the pinky metacarpal (obviousely i'm not a Dr.) But I found out this morning i won't need a cast. Ribs still hurt, but at least i can still play ball. Was really worried about having to get a cast. Would really put a damper on my softball, swimming, biking and lifting. Hope to have a better report next week. All take care!

Thanks, i was just really happy to hear no cast. The rough part of the summer is almost over. Daughter's softball ended friday night and I coach my son's baseball team. It's tourney time so after next monday, regardless of what happens, we are done with that too. That will free up 3 nights and 2 weekend days. Wooo Hooo!

does she do that all in one event; it's not like the horse race triple crown where it's 3 events added up? that's the amount i hope to do in one month! wow, is all i can say; i thought i was intense doing 2 swims and 2 runs over the weekend. guess there's always two ends of the spectrum!

Matt_l - 2006-06-26 8:29 AM PTinVA, How many hours a week are you training for the HIM? Matt

Last week I trained for about 12 hours which included a metric century; the week before that was around 8 or 9 hours.  :)

Two birthday's this week, & a little beer & a few brats on the golf course didn't make it an easy week for me, but I did manage a -.5 pound yesterday. That just means I'll have to pay more attention for a few weeks.

Ok,

I fell off the wagon again. I was on vacation for a week. I didn't touch my bike, didn't even run once. Drank a lot of beer (I wish I didn't like it!!). Here we go again!

I'm seriously thinking of signing up for a HIM with my sister in Phoenix but I'm  scared to death!! Maybe that is what I need to get real about my nutrition and weight loss.

Starting weight: 186

Back to 186 Yuck, Yuck, Yuck!!!

TwoOlives,

The important part is that you are back... Keep sight of the goal and you will get there!

The HIM will be a good goal to keep you focused...

Hi all,

I've been out of town and started two new jobs, so the last couple of weeks have been madness. Zilla, congrats! I'm so impressed and it is great to hear how excited you are about it. Way to share the success story. Keep it up! I know it's not always easy.

hskrtc, sorry to hear about the hand and ribs. What a bummer. Hope you are healing ok.

Looks like the whole team is doing a great job. Keep it up. I wonder what our net loss is? It's all pretty impressive for just a few short weeks.
