dfquigley - 2012-12-08 7:18 AM Damn, some people get great deals at gyms!!

Up here in BC, Canada I'm paying about $130 per month including taxes, but that includes myself, my wife and our 2 kids.

Includes all the standard weight and cardio equipment, all sorts of spin classes, trx classes, yoga  etc. the occasional personal trainer review, pool,  kids have swimming lessons, they can do karate as well.  If they're under 6 there is childminding so I can drop them off while I work out as well, very handy.

Overall I feel like we get a good value for our money

I was a member of the Steve Nash gym in downtown Vancouver for $100/month just for me.  $130 for the whole family sounds like a pretty good deal actually!

I pay about $90 a month which covers my son and I at the local Y. It includes weights, classes (I go to spin classes regularly in the winter) and the pool. Kiddo's swim lessons are extra.
